Located in the affluent shopping centre of Constantia Village in the leafy suburb of Constantia, this store underwent an extensive refurbishment with the grand relaunching in October 2017. The refurbishment constituted the incorporation of the general trading floor into the old nursery area, thus increasing the overall area of the store. The new look and feel implemented was developed from the then recently introduced new brand image. To improve the stores service offering a sushi and cheese bar and large clothing and flower departments were introduced. To enhance the customer experience Knead was included mid floor of the shopping area to be enjoyed by all. All bulkheads and ceilings were replaced with new and lighting improved.

Pick n Pay Retailers strives to uplift their stores on a regular basis to maintain a high shopping environment and service offering. BAI was pleased to be involved when the store again underwent a minor refurbishment mid 2019 where the creation of a new pharmacy section, a lager sushi area, refurbished coffee bar and general cosmetic changes to the store were made in line with the new design aesthetic for Pick n Pay as also implemented at the recently renovated Pick n Pay On Nicol Retail Centre in Johannesburg.

The refurbished pharmacy has a new dispensary section and two consulting rooms. New bulkheads and colour schemes modernise the area and convey the theme of well-being and vitality. The adjacent ‘health & beauty’ and clothing sections were altered to accommodate the extension to the pharmacy. The original Knead area has been converted into a new and bigger Sushi area, which accommodates a friendly sit down area with sushi belt. The cheese bar and the juice bar sections have been relocated and modernised. There is also a new coffee area with barista bar coffee station. The interior aesthetic again underwent improvement resulting in a modern and appealing end result.
