NSP Mall is a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) consisting of commercial space attached to the Netaji Subhash Place Metro Station along the recently operationalized ‘Pink Line’ in Delhi, India. The metro station is located in close proximity to an important traffic junction between the Ring Road and LJN Marg. The project retains excellent frontage (approx. 175 meters) which provides ample opportunity for Branding and Signage.
Approx. 24,000 sq. mt. of retail area is spread across five levels which are connected at various levels and through various nodes to the metro station. The podium level was designed as an amalgamation of indoor and outdoor spaces for F&B, live entertainment and kiosks to make the project more pedestrian friendly while the vehicular parking was designed as an MLCP adjacent to the retail area, allowing access to the retail at multiple levels. Bentel overcame several challenges that were associated with this kind of a development, most notably the large column spans of 14 meters with deep beams which were creatively blended with the large and welcoming shop fronts.
