The Tyger Valley Shopping Centre project was a refurbishment program. Overall design of the refurbishment involved a major contemporary revamp of the interiors, including new ceilings, floor tiling, lighting, shop fronts in certain areas, and balustrades.

The task was to rejuvenate the tired aesthetics to attract more youth to the centre. Tied in with this objective was the major redesign of the Arena, which is the entertainment and food core of the centre. A modern approach was taken to redesign the centre’s new interiors. As a result, the centre now boasts of light-filled, airy spaces marked by clean lines and modern aesthetics.

Wherever possible, green and sustainable initiatives were also installed or upgraded to ensure the continued goal of reducing the energy demand of the centre.
